So what’s new?

I’m very excited to announce that now I have a very talented Retoucher(Michael) who works along side me. Michael has worked as a retoucher in both Moldova and Russia http://www.behance.net/medvedy His CGI works is just as impressive as his photoshop skills and I’m sure our combination will offer a fantastic creative service.

The ‘Lunatics have taken over the Asylum’ series is a little idea I had been wanting to do for a while and Michael gave me a hand is putting the final touches together https://vimeo.com/68005708

I’ve also got stuck back into an old personal project I briefly touched upon about 5 years ago. Amateur Boxing in Ireland is huge and the people involved are as interesting as the sport, particularly when shot in their own environments. I spent a few days at Donore Boxing Club in the Liberties and met some wonderful people. Their commitment to the kids within the community is inspirational http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhRLJXAZX_U

I also attended an evening at a pub fight night in Sallynoggin. The public can stand right against the ropes to hear & smell the action. Even the camera had to avoid a few low blows.
I’m hoping to somehow attend a travellers fist fight at some stage and I’ve put the feelers out. Watch this space.
